Rick Miller founded Avamere in 1995 with a skilled nursing facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. Rick returned in 2018 as the CEO.

In 2010 Rick co-founded the venture capital firm, Rogue Venture Partners. Rogue invests primarily in Oregon-based entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with funding and mentorship.

Today Rick is the CEO of Avamere Living, a skilled nursing and therapy services company. He is also part owner of various healthcare organizations, including Arete and Infinity Rehab.
