Albert Castaneda joined the Arete Living leadership team in 2022 as the Chief Development Officer, and oversees the development, construction, and integration for Arete Living senior communities and the overall Arete Living management portfolio.

Albert brings a wealth of experience to Arete Living. He has held previous director positions with Deacon Construction, Windsor Healthcare, and Encompass Development Services, among others. Albert has served on several advisory boards, most recently active with the University of Portland Engineering Alumni Board.

Albert earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Portland. He is married to his wife Sandy, who is a wound care nurse for Legacy Silverton. He’s a proud father to Lily, 14, and twins Ally and Carly, who are 11. In his free time, Albert enjoys watching his children compete in youth sports and golfing.
